The Geoffrey’s tamarin family has grown! Cannoli and her mate Napoleon have a new pair of twins. Born in April, the babies have started to hop around the branches on their own, and are getting to know their siblings, Bonbon and Paulie. They also spend plenty of time riding around on their parents’ backs, especially when they’re tired.
Geoffrey’s tamarins are native to South America and live in groups that can have as many as 20 members. All troop members pitch in with baby-care.
Help us choose a pair of names for this tiny twosome, then come say hello to the tamarin family inside the Animal Lifestyles rotunda!
